Had a lovely early birthday dinner with one of my dearest friends. It was a hot summer-like evening, and appropriately (or not), we decided to get some warm Korean food.

We both haven’t tried a new Korean spot in a while, so it was a new venture that we approached with a slight skepticism. And it surprised us! From the crunch of the apple in the kimchi (where I laughed until I almost cried) to the mysterious kimchi sauce to the golden comforting broth… all around solid and will be back.

Ordered: assorted banchan, beef broth (⭐️)rice/beef, chicken broth/noodles (⭐️), chicken, yuzu barley tea
